Health Guarantee

Thank you for choosing one of our puppies. We are committed to raising healthy, well-socialized dogs and providing transparency and honesty to all our clients.
This Health Guarantee explains what we guarantee and what is required from the buyer to maintain the validity of this guarantee.

1. General Health at Purchase

All puppies are:

  • Vet-checked before leaving our facility.

  • Up-to-date on age-appropriate vaccinations and deworming.

  • Free from visible signs of illness at the time of pickup or delivery.

On the date of transfer, the puppy will be considered healthy to the best of our knowledge.
The buyer must inspect the puppy at delivery and raise any concerns before accepting possession.

2. Veterinary Examination (72-Hour Rule)

The buyer must take the puppy to a licensed veterinarian within 72 hours of receiving the puppy.

  • A full health check must be performed.

  • Any findings must be documented in writing by the veterinarian.

  • The buyer must contact us immediately if any health issue is found.

Failure to complete this step voids the guarantee.

3. Covered Conditions

We guarantee the puppy to be free from life-threatening congenital or hereditary defects for a period of 12 months from the date of purchase.

Life-threatening means conditions that:

  • Severely impact quality of life,

  • Require major surgery to correct, or

  • Result in death.

Examples may include:

  • Severe heart defects

  • Severe liver shunt

  • Spinal deformities causing paralysis

  • Genetic kidney failure

4. What We Will Do

If a qualifying genetic or congenital health issue is diagnosed:

  • We will replace the puppy with another puppy of equal value, OR

  • Refund up to 50% of the purchase price, based on veterinary report and proof.

The choice of remedy is at our discretion.

We do not refund shipping, travel, or third-party fees.

5. Conditions That Are NOT Covered

This guarantee does not apply to:

  • Parasites (giardia, worms, coccidia, ticks, fleas)

  • Respiratory infections common to transport or environmental change

  • Allergies

  • Stress-related conditions

  • Non-genetic illnesses

  • Minor cosmetic faults (bite issues, hernias, etc.)

  • Ear crop, tail dock, or cosmetic surgical results

We do not guarantee size, weight, color, coat quality, temperament, or breeding ability.

6. Buyer Responsibilities

The guarantee is valid only if the buyer:

  • Provides routine veterinary care

  • Keeps puppy up-to-date on vaccinations and deworming

  • Maintains a safe, clean living environment

  • Provides proper diet, exercise, and hydration

Neglect, abuse, or failure to provide standard care voids the guarantee.

7. Returning or Rehoming the Dog

If the buyer cannot keep the puppy for any reason:

  • The buyer must contact us first.

  • The puppy may not be resold, rehomed, or taken to a shelter without our written approval.

We may assist with rehoming, but no money will be refunded for personal circumstances.

8. Disclaimer

We cannot predict or guarantee:

  • Adult weight or size

  • Fertility or breeding capability

  • Temperament in a new environment

  • Behavior changes due to training, neglect, or home environment

Reality: Dogs are living beings, not products.
While we breed responsibly, many factors in a dog’s development are outside our control once the puppy leaves our care.

9. Agreement

By purchasing and taking possession of a puppy from us, the buyer agrees to all terms listed above.
